The first thorough study of the great links courses, it also contains many photographs of the clubhouse buildings and players of the day. This elaborate publication covers fifty-one UK and three French courses, the latter traditionally frequented by the British during the winter months.

Condition: Good. An all original example with some edge wear to the unfaded cloth, all spine and cover illustrations 100% complete in original brown endpapers. Pages white, no foxing, no former owner name or bookplate, no underlining, marginalia, soiling, etc.
One of the most important books in the library of golf, very scarce in this condition.
