The binding is fairly tight, but the tissue-covered signed title portrait is loose. The pages are hand-cut, and some are foxed. mark to rear board and a small hole.The edges are browned. The book has 65 black-and white plates. All in all a good copy of a very hard to find first edition.
Signed by Vardon, a first edition signed is very scarce. Good, fraying to top of spine, contents good. Item #10484
