The Essential Guide to Collecting Golf Balls
England: Colin Palmer, 2010. 141p. illus. wrapps. Dust Jacket Limited edition 250 copies. More
Every autograph is unique and adds a special uniqueness to a collection.
Collecting major champions, Ryder Cup players, personally collected autographs, signed letters, photographs, flags, balls.
Just a few ways to collect.
Authentic autographs are crucial, unfortunately many fakes do exist, and without actually having collected the autograph personally there is no 100% guarantee it is real. Following that, buying from a reputable source that stands by their autographs, finding authentic samples to compare with are all great ways, SEE OUR BIOS & AUTOGRAPHS page.
Remember some players autographs change at various stages of a career, Bobby Jones, Tiger Woods, Seve Ballesteros, are perfect examples of evolving signatures.
Where or how the autograph signed, i.e. smudged on the back of a glove or on the first page of their most popular book or a 8x10 photograph makes the world of difference to value and collectability, always choose autographs you enjoy looking at.
