Panmure Golf Club 1845 - 1995
Panmure, Angus: Privately Published, 1996. 134p, cloth. Dust jacket. Limited edition 160/1500
Golf has been played on the Barry Links since the 15th Century, so popular was the demand that in 1643 "Gowff" was banned on the Lords day.
Panmure taking full advantage of the newly built railway became home for the wealthy Dundee Lords, Earls and business owners. Used today as an Open qualifying course, one of the best tests of golf around, well worth the visit. Good, slightly worn jacket. Gift inscription to ffep. Item #9397
Price: £79.00
