This is the scarce first volume in an annually published series. Title of the annuals changed after 1894 to Golfer's Guide for the United Kingdom, and in 1898 and 99 (the last two edition published) to Golfer's Guide Annual. Full of information on golf and nice descriptions of golf clubs, courses, and personalities, along with some golf poetry.
Chapter on care of the Greens.
Important source of biographical information.
