. ca 1950. Presented here is a matted vintage image of Sam Snead and Wilson Golf President Fred Bowman. Snead has signed and inscribed the image in black ink as follows:
"To my very good friend & Boss Fred Bowman a great guy and a hell of a player.

Sam Snead holds the record of 82 PGA Tour wins, though could never tackle the US Open, finishing in 2nd place four times in his career. The matting measures 14 1/2" x 12 3/4" and the photo itself shows some minor discoloration. Item #6153
