Chicago: P.F. Volland, 1916. 200pp enclosed is a original sketch by Briggs, see the previous owners comments "Claire Briggs, the author and artist of this book, was a cousin of my late father in law. The cartoon, which is tucked inside the front cover, along with a photograph of Mr. Briggs, is one that the author did of my father in law." Contents good and free from inscription, hinges weak, as is often the case with this book, slight dampstain to lower left front board, otherwise reasonable condition. Origial boards, worn. Item #3365
