The first thorough study of the great links courses, it also contains many photographs of the clubhouse buildings and players of the day. This elaborate publication covers fifty-one UK and three French courses, the latter traditionally frequented by the British during the winter months.
Condition: Fair. An all original example with some edge wear and scuffing to cloth, spine worn but intact, cover illustrations 100% complete in original brown endpapers. Pages white, no foxing, former owner name dated 1997 May penned in ink, no bookplate, no underlining, marginalia, soiling, etc.
