O.B. Keeler was born on January 3, 1884 in Olympia, Washington, USA as Oscar Bane Keeler. He was a writer for the Atlantic Journal in the 1920,s and famousley reporting on the career of Bobby Jones. Keeler was described by Murdoch as "Bobby Jones' Boswell"; Keeler saw Jones win all 13 of his major championships and travelled more than 120,000 miles of golfing trails with his cohort. He collaborated with Bobby Jones in probably the Golf library's most important book "Down the Fairway. He died on October 15th 1950 in Queens Village, New York City, New York, USA
